Price

Pricing model
A slider sets a monthly credit volume from 5,000 to 2,000,000, and every tier splits its credits in half: one half for finding and searching, the other for verification, which the page calls free. Yearly billing takes 25% off in the calculator, which the toggle calls three months free and the FAQ calls 30%. Credits can also be bought once without a subscription and stay valid for 12 months. A free plan gives 25 searches a month. Enterprise is $2,499 a month on an annual contract with uncapped API access, custom endpoints and SSO. A search that finds no valid email is free, repeat searches within 30 days are not charged, and phone numbers cost 5 credits each.

What Tomba does well

  • Clear credit pricing from $49 a month for 5,000 credits, about 2 cents a found email, falling to about 1 cent on the Pro tier, with verification credits included at no charge.
  • You only pay for hits: a search that finds no valid email costs nothing, and a repeat search within 30 days is not charged again.
  • A free plan with 25 searches a month and no card, plus one-time credit packs that stay valid for 12 months if you do not want a subscription.
  • Every way in you could want: domain search, email and LinkedIn finders, a verifier, a phone finder, browser extensions, Sheets and Excel add-ons, Zapier, Make, n8n, HubSpot and Pipedrive, an API, a CLI and an MCP server.
  • A named Delaware company founded in 2021 that publishes its crawl volumes and monthly data reports, with GDPR and CCPA statements.

Where it falls short

  • Two refund policies: the pricing FAQ allows a refund within 72 hours if under 10 percent of the credits are used, while the terms give a 14-day money-back guarantee on a first subscription with fewer than 50 API requests.
  • The yearly saving is 25 percent in the calculator but 30 percent in the FAQ, and the calculator labels the yearly total as a monthly figure.
  • Subscription credits lapse at the end of each period and a downgrade can lose unused credits, so the slider needs to match real usage.
  • The 99 percent accuracy, under 5 percent bounce rate and 4.7 out of 5 from 150 reviews are the company's own figures on its own site.
  • Phone numbers cost 5 credits each, and the terms include binding arbitration and a class-action waiver for US users.

What Tomba is

Tomba is an email finder and verifier built by Tomba Technology Web Service LLC, a Delaware company founded in 2021. Give it a company domain and it returns the email addresses it has found there with the pages they came from; give it a name and a domain and it guesses and verifies the address; give it a LinkedIn URL or an article and it finds the author. A verifier, a phone finder and a reverse email lookup round out the set, and all of it runs through browser extensions, spreadsheet add-ons, an API and, lately, an MCP server for AI agents. The company says it crawls 2 billion pages a month and serves more than 150,000 professionals, and it publishes monthly reports on how its database grows. Those are its own numbers, but it is unusual for a data vendor to show its crawl volumes at all.

Tomba pricing

Pricing is a slider rather than a plan list. You pick a monthly credit volume between 5,000 and 2,000,000 and the page names the tier and the price: Basic at $49 for 5,000 credits, Growth at $89 for 10,000, Pro at $199 for 40,000, Pro Plus at $449 for 100,000, then Scale at $899 for 200,000, $1,620 for 400,000 and $2,499 for 600,000. Every tier splits its credits in half, one half for finding and searching and the other for verification, which Tomba counts as free, so Basic is really 2,500 found emails and 2,500 verifications, about 2 cents a hit, and Pro brings that down to about a cent. One credit buys one valid email found or verified; a phone number costs 5 credits. A search that finds no valid email costs nothing, and the same search run again within 30 days is not charged.

Yearly billing takes 25% off in the calculator, so Basic is $441 a year and Growth $801, though the toggle calls it three months free and the FAQ calls it 30%, and the calculator labels the yearly total as a monthly figure. Credits can also be bought once, without a subscription, and stay valid for 12 months. A free plan gives 25 searches a month with no card. Enterprise is a separate $2,499 a month on an annual contract, for uncapped API access at 100,000 calls a day, custom endpoints, SSO and an audit log; the page points out that Scale 300K costs the same month to month without the contract. Cards, PayPal and Bitcoin are accepted.

Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled from the billing page at any time, with access until the end of the period; a downgrade takes effect at the next cycle and can lose unused credits. Refunds are where the site disagrees with itself. The pricing FAQ allows a refund of the most recent payment within 72 hours if under 10% or 1,000 credits were used; the terms of service offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on a first subscription with fewer than 50 API requests. The terms are the contract. US users also agree to binding arbitration and a class-action waiver.

Tomba tools and integrations

The domain search is the core product for cold email: paste a company domain and you get the addresses found there, each with a source URL, plus the company’s email pattern for guessing the ones it missed. The email finder, LinkedIn finder and author finder cover the name-to-address cases, the verifier checks lists you built elsewhere, and bulk tasks run any of them over a spreadsheet. Around that sit the browser extensions, a Google Sheets add-on, an Excel add-in and an Airtable extension, native syncs to HubSpot and Pipedrive, and connectors for Zapier, Make, n8n and Zoho Flow. Developers get an API, a CLI and an MCP server, which lets an AI agent call Tomba directly; the API is rate limited below the Enterprise tier.

Data quality and what to do with it

Tomba claims 99% accuracy and a bounce rate under 5%, and it backs the claim with its pricing: you pay for valid emails only and every tier ships with as many verification credits as finder credits. That makes bad data cheap rather than impossible. Run every exported list through the verifier anyway, treat catch-all domains with care, and keep daily volumes low on new addresses until replies confirm the list is real. The company also publishes its monthly crawl and database statistics, so you can see whether the data behind your target industries is being refreshed.

Who Tomba is for, and who should look elsewhere

Tomba suits founders, SDRs and agencies building prospect lists from company domains or LinkedIn who want cheap, verified emails on credits and a free plan to test with. It is a poor fit for teams that need intent data, firmographic filters for picking accounts in the first place, or one predictable refund rule.

Tomba alternatives

ContactOut charges a flat $49 a month for up to 2,000 email credits under fair use and has the stronger LinkedIn extension. SignalHire sells credits that cover phones as well as emails, with a free trial. RocketReach has the larger database and the higher prices. The lead data comparison scores all of them.

Using Tomba with PureMail

Tomba supplies the addresses; it does not send email or supply inboxes. Build the list with a domain search or the LinkedIn finder, let the included verification credits clean it, export it, and load it into the sequencer that your PureMail inboxes are connected to, with daily limits set for warm sending. Because misses are free and verification is included, Tomba is one of the cheaper ways to feed a small set of inboxes with lists that have already been checked.

Tomba FAQ

How much does Tomba cost?

As of 6 October 2026, the slider starts at $49 a month for 5,000 credits on Basic, then $89 for 10,000 on Growth, $199 for 40,000 on Pro, $449 for 100,000 on Pro Plus, and $899, $1,620 and $2,499 for 200,000, 400,000 and 600,000 on the Scale tiers. Yearly billing is 25% less in the calculator, so Basic is $441 a year and Growth $801. Enterprise is $2,499 a month on an annual contract with uncapped API access, and one-time credit packs can be bought without a subscription.

Is Tomba free?

There is a free plan with 25 searches a month and no card required, and it includes the browser extensions and the other tools, so you can test accuracy on your own targets before paying. The pricing page also says that any search which fails to find a valid email is free, on every plan.

How do Tomba credits work?

Every tier splits its credits in half: one half for finding and searching, the other for verification, which Tomba counts as free. One credit buys one valid email found or one email verified, a phone number costs 5 credits, and the same credits work in the web app, the API, the extensions and the spreadsheet add-ons. Searches that find nothing are not charged and repeats within 30 days are free. Subscription credits last until the end of the billing period, monthly or yearly, and one-time packs stay valid for 12 months.

Can I cancel Tomba, and is there a refund?

Subscriptions renew automatically and you can cancel at any time from the billing page, keeping your credits until the end of the current period. Refunds are where the site contradicts itself. The pricing FAQ says a refund is possible only on the most recent payment, within 72 hours and with under 10% or 1,000 credits used. The terms of service instead offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on a first subscription with fewer than 50 API requests and no earlier refund. The terms are the contract; the FAQ is the practice you should expect.

Can I use Tomba with PureMail inboxes?

Yes, as a data source. Run a domain search or a LinkedIn finder in Tomba, let the included verification credits clean the list, export it, and load it into the sequencer your PureMail inboxes are connected to. Tomba does not send email or supply inboxes, so your sending reputation comes from the inboxes and the daily limits you set on them.
