What SignalHire does well
- Among the cheapest email credits in the category: $69 for 1,000, about 7 cents each, or less than 6 cents on the yearly plan.
- Unlimited users on every paid plan, so a small team pays one subscription rather than per seat.
- A credit is charged only when a lookup returns at least one email or phone, and the free plan needs no card.
- The Chrome extension pulls contacts from LinkedIn and other profiles, with CSV enrichment, an API and an MCP server for automation.
- Cancel at any time and keep using the remaining credits until the cycle ends.
Where it falls short
- Phone credits cost more than twice as much as email credits: 435 for $69, about 16 cents each.
- The Emails and Phones plan is labelled an unlimited package but the page prints no credit figure for it; confirm before you rely on it.
- The 900 million profiles, 30 million companies and 3 million users are the company's own claims.
- A finder, not a prospecting suite: no intent data, firmographic depth or CRM-native sequencing of the kind ZoomInfo or Apollo.io sell.
- Returned addresses still include catch-all domains and stale records, so every list needs verification before it reaches an inbox.

What SignalHire is
SignalHire is a contact finder: a browser extension and web app that returns email addresses, phone numbers and social links for people you look up, drawn from what the company says is a database of 900 million profiles and 30 million companies. It is operated by SignalHire Sp. z o.o. and claims more than 3 million users and 100,000 organisations. Treat the figures as the company’s own. The product is popular with recruiters as much as with sales teams, which shows in the feature list: resume search, job-change tracking and ATS integrations sit next to the CRM ones.
For a cold email operation the attraction is price. Where ZoomInfo and Seamless.AI quote through sales, SignalHire prints its prices, charges a credit only when a lookup actually returns something, and lets the whole team share one subscription.
SignalHire pricing
There is a free plan with 5 credits and no card required, rising to 10 credits a month once the Chrome extension is installed. Paid plans are split by data type. Emails is $69 a month for 1,000 credits, or $57 a month billed yearly with 12,000 credits for the year. Phones is $69 a month for 435 credits, or $57 yearly with 5,400. Emails and Phones together is $99 a month or $83 yearly; the page calls it the Unlimited Package but prints no credit figure for it, so ask what the allowance is before relying on it. A Scale plan with bulk licensing is quoted by sales.
Per credit, that is about 7 cents for an email on monthly billing and under 6 cents on yearly, which is among the lowest published rates in this category. Phone numbers cost about 16 cents. Every paid plan includes unlimited users, CSV enrichment and export, the extension, ATS and CRM integrations and API access. Subscriptions can be stopped at any time, and the remaining credits last until the end of the cycle.
SignalHire Chrome extension and integrations
The extension is the main way to use the product. It reveals contact details on LinkedIn and other profile pages and adds them to lists, and installing it is what unlocks the 10 free monthly credits. Lists export to CSV or push to an ATS or CRM. There is an API, an MCP server for teams wiring the data into AI agents, a bulk finder for enriching a spreadsheet of names and companies, and an email sequences product for sending. For outbound at any volume the dependable route remains export, verify, send from a sequencer.
Data quality and what to do with it
Charging a credit only on a hit is a fair policy, and the testimonials on the pricing page lean on mobile-number accuracy. It still does not change the rule for cold email: a finder’s output includes catch-all domains and people who have moved, so every list goes through a verifier before it reaches a sending inbox. Our verification tool reviews cover the options, and MillionVerifier is the cheapest we have tested per address.
Who SignalHire is for, and who should look elsewhere
SignalHire suits small teams, agencies and recruiters who want cheap email credits, unlimited seats and a browser extension, and who are happy to build lists by hand on LinkedIn. It is a poorer fit for teams that need intent data, deep firmographics or CRM-native sequencing, and the phone plan is expensive for a phone-heavy workflow.
SignalHire alternatives
RocketReach is the closest comparison, a pure finder with per-seat prices from $27 a month billed annually. Apollo.io adds a sequencer and a free plan with 900 credits a year. Seamless.AI quotes only but offers 50 free credits to test. The lead data category lists every finder we have reviewed with its score.
Using SignalHire with PureMail
SignalHire supplies the names; it does not supply sending infrastructure. Export the list, verify it, and load it into the sequencer that your PureMail inboxes are connected to, with daily limits set for warm sending. If you use SignalHire’s own sequences product, confirm how it connects external Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailboxes before building a campaign around it; the pricing page does not say.

SignalHire FAQ
How much does SignalHire cost?
As of 5 October 2026, the Emails plan is $69 a month for 1,000 credits, or $57 a month billed yearly with 12,000 credits a year. The Phones plan is $69 a month for 435 credits, or $57 yearly with 5,400 a year. Emails and Phones together cost $99 a month or $83 yearly. A Scale plan is quoted by sales. All paid plans include unlimited users.
How do SignalHire credits work?
Clicking Get Contacts on a profile returns phone numbers, verified emails and social links, and deducts one credit only if at least one email or phone number comes back. Credits are tied to the plan's data type, emails or phones or both, and unused credits remain usable until the end of the billing cycle after you cancel.
Is SignalHire free?
There is a free plan with 5 credits and no card required, and installing the Chrome extension raises that to 10 free credits a month. It is enough to test accuracy on a handful of your own targets before paying. Beyond that you need the Emails, Phones or combined plan.
What does the SignalHire Chrome extension do?
The extension reveals contact details on LinkedIn and other profile pages and adds them to lists, so prospecting happens where you already browse. It is included on every plan, including the free one, and installing it is what unlocks the 10 free monthly credits. Lists export to CSV or to an ATS or CRM.
Can I use SignalHire with PureMail inboxes?
Yes, as a data source. Build and export lists in SignalHire, run them through a verifier, and load them into the sequencer your PureMail inboxes are connected to. SignalHire also sells an email sequences product, but it does not supply sending infrastructure, so the inboxes and their reputation come from elsewhere.
