What RocketReach does well
- A very large database: RocketReach claims 700 million professionals and 60 million companies, with verification at lookup time and a refund of the lookup when nothing verified comes back.
- The cheapest tier is email-only at $27 a month billed annually, which is what a cold email list actually needs; phone numbers cost more than twice as much and most cold emailers never use them.
- Annual plans remove the monthly lookup cap (unlimited lookups, capped only by exports), so heavy list building is not metered lookup by lookup.
- Fifty-plus search filters, CSV enrichment, a Chrome extension and native integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft and Bullhorn.
- Free account with 3 lookups and no card, and cancellation at any time.
Where it falls short
- The advertised prices are annual commitments: $329, $829 or $1,699 up front. Monthly billing exists but costs more, and RocketReach does not show the monthly price until you toggle for it.
- Exports are the real limit on annual plans: 1,200 a year on Essentials is 100 contacts a month, which is one small campaign.
- The built-in sequences send at most 500 emails a day from a connected mailbox, with no inbox rotation, so serious volume still needs a dedicated sequencer.
- Accuracy claims (98 percent) are RocketReach's own; every export should still go through a verifier before it touches your inboxes.
- API access starts at the Ultimate tier, $1,699 a year.

What RocketReach is
RocketReach is a B2B contact database and email finder. You search by name, company, title, industry or any of fifty-odd filters, reveal a verified email or phone number, and export the result to a CSV, a CRM or one of RocketReach’s own sequences. The company claims 700 million professional profiles, 60 million companies and 98 percent accuracy on verified data, and says its lookups are verified in real time. Those figures are RocketReach’s own. There is a Chrome extension for LinkedIn and company websites, an enrichment tool for CSV lists, and on the higher tiers technographics, intent topics and an API.
For a cold emailer this is the top of the funnel: the place the list comes from before it is verified and loaded into a sequencer.
RocketReach pricing
The published prices assume annual billing. Essentials is $27 a month, or $329 a year, and covers email lookups only. Pro is $69 a month, $829 a year, and adds mobile and direct phone numbers, technographics and the CRM integrations. Ultimate is $142 a month, $1,699 a year, with more exports, intent data and API access. Monthly billing is offered at a higher rate; RocketReach’s own framing is that annual saves 50 percent, and it does not display the monthly figure until you switch the toggle, so check it before you assume.
The allowances are the part to read twice. On annual plans lookups are unlimited, but exports are capped at 1,200, 3,600 and 20,000 a year. On monthly billing the cap moves to lookups: 100, 250 or 1,000 a month. A lookup that comes back without a verified email or phone is refunded. Team plans with pooled credits and company-wide exports start at $6,000 a year.
Setup and integrations
Nothing to install beyond the Chrome extension. The integrations that matter for outbound teams are Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach and Salesloft, plus Bullhorn for recruiters; all four arrive at the Pro tier. RocketReach also has its own light sequencer, with a 500-email-a-day send limit from a connected mailbox and an AI writer, and an Autopilot feature that runs saved searches and enrichment on a schedule.
Data quality and what to do with it
RocketReach verifies at lookup time and refunds misses, which is better than paying for guesses. It is still a database, and databases age. Titles change, people move, catch-all domains return “valid” for anything. The practical rule is the same as for every data source: export, verify with a dedicated verifier, remove the risky addresses, and only then send. That step costs a few dollars per thousand contacts and protects inboxes that cost far more to replace.
Who RocketReach is for, and who should look elsewhere
RocketReach suits sellers and small teams who build targeted lists a few hundred contacts at a time, want a big database behind a Chrome extension, and already live in Salesforce or HubSpot. The email-only Essentials tier is the right buy for cold email; phone numbers are the expensive part and most outbound teams never dial them. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs thousands of exports a month on a small budget or API access without the Ultimate tier.
Using RocketReach with PureMail
The workflow is short. Build the list in RocketReach with the filters that describe your buyer, export it, and run it through a verifier before it goes anywhere near a sending account. Load the clean list into your sequencer, the one your PureMail inboxes are already connected to, and let warmup limits, not list size, set the daily volume. RocketReach’s built-in sequences can send from a connected Google or Microsoft mailbox, so a PureMail inbox will work there too, but without inbox rotation you will hit the 500-a-day ceiling from a single account quickly; a dedicated sequencer spreads the load across all of them.
RocketReach FAQ
How much does RocketReach cost?
As of 30 September 2026, RocketReach's published prices are $27 a month for Essentials, $69 for Pro and $142 for Ultimate, all billed annually at $329, $829 and $1,699. Monthly billing is available at a higher rate, which RocketReach describes as annual saving 50 percent. Team plans start at $6,000 a year, and a free account includes 3 lookups.
What is the difference between RocketReach lookups and exports?
A lookup reveals a contact's verified email or phone inside RocketReach; an export pulls contacts out to CSV or a CRM. On annual plans lookups are unlimited and exports are capped at 1,200, 3,600 or 20,000 a year. On monthly billing lookups are capped at 100, 250 or 1,000 a month. A lookup that finds nothing verified is refunded.
Does RocketReach include phone numbers?
Only on Pro and Ultimate. Essentials is email only, which is enough for a cold email list and is why it costs less than half of Pro.
Is RocketReach free?
Creating an account is free and includes 3 lookups with no credit card. After that you choose a paid plan, and you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month or year.
How do I use RocketReach lists with PureMail inboxes?
Build the list in RocketReach with the email-only filters, export it, run it through a verifier such as MillionVerifier to strip risky addresses, then load it into your sequencer connected to your PureMail inboxes. Keep each new inbox at its warmup limits regardless of how large the list is.
