What Emailable does well
- Simple unit pricing that drops with volume: $0.006 a verification at 10,000 credits and $0.0021 at a million, with a 15% subscription discount on top.
- 250 free credits to test a sample, a 5,000-credit minimum, and pay-as-you-go credits that never expire.
- Unknown results and duplicates are refunded to the balance automatically when a list finishes.
- Fast: Emailable says it processes 10,000 addresses in under three minutes and 250,000 in about seven.
- One balance covers verification, inbox placement reports and blacklist monitoring, and the company holds SOC 2 Type II.
Where it falls short
- Payments are non-refundable; refunds are at Emailable's discretion and only if requested within 30 days of the transaction.
- The 5,000-credit minimum means the smallest purchase is $38, which is more than some rivals' entry packs.
- Accounts with no activity for 12 months can be deleted along with any unused credits.
- Subscription credits roll over, but a cancelled or deleted account loses them.
- Refunds are discretionary under Florida-law terms, and the YouTube channel has only two short clips.

What Emailable is
Emailable is an email verification service from Emailable, LLC that checks whether an address can receive mail before you send to it. You can upload a list, verify a single address, call the API, or put its widget on a signup form; the same credit balance also pays for inbox placement reports and blacklist monitoring. The company holds SOC 2 Type II and says the world’s largest companies rely on it, which is its own claim. For cold email it is one of the verifiers that keeps bounce rates low enough for new inboxes to survive.
Emailable pricing explained
One credit verifies one address, and packs get cheaper as they grow. Pay-as-you-go, 5,000 credits cost $38 ($0.0076 each), 10,000 $60 ($0.006), 25,000 $141 ($0.0056), 50,000 $245 ($0.0049), 100,000 $420 ($0.0042), 250,000 $750 ($0.003), 500,000 $1,350 ($0.0027) and 1,000,000 $2,100 ($0.0021). The calculator takes any number in between, and over a million is quoted. A monthly or yearly credit subscription takes 15% off, so 10,000 credits a month cost $51 and 100,000 cost $357; unused credits roll over and there is no long-term commitment. An inbox placement report costs 100 credits and a blacklist monitor check 5. Every account starts with 250 free credits, the minimum purchase is 5,000, pay-as-you-go credits never expire, and credits spent on unknown results and duplicates return to the balance when the list finishes. Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted, with bank transfers on request.
The terms are stricter than the pricing page sounds. Payments are non-refundable; refunds are issued at Emailable’s discretion for listed problems if requested within 30 days, with an answer within 14 days. Cancelling a subscription takes effect at the end of the period. Accounts with no activity for 12 months may be deleted with their credits, and unknown results are explicitly not grounds for a refund. Florida law governs, with exclusive jurisdiction in Florida courts.
Verification, placement and monitoring
The four verification routes, Bulk, Verifier, API and Widget, all cost one credit per address and return the usual grades, deliverable, undeliverable, risky and unknown. Emailable says 10,000 addresses finish in under three minutes and 250,000 in about seven. The Deliverability product uses the same balance: an inbox report sends a test to seed addresses and shows where the mail landed, and a blacklist monitor checks a domain or IP against the lists for 5 credits a run.
What that means for cold email
For a cold email operation, verification is the cheapest insurance you can buy: at $0.006 an address, cleaning a 10,000-contact list costs $60 and keeps the bounce rate under the thresholds that get new inboxes throttled. The unknown refund matters more than it looks, because B2B lists with catch-all domains produce many unknowns, and paying for them twice adds up. The placement report is a sensible 100-credit check when a fresh domain starts sending.
Who Emailable is for, and who should look elsewhere
Emailable suits cold email teams that verify lists in bursts and want transparent per-credit pricing with refunds for unknowns. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs a money-back guarantee on accuracy. ZeroBounce, NeverBounce, MillionVerifier, DeBounce and Verifalia are the other verifiers reviewed here, and the verification tools category sets their prices side by side. Clearout sells rolling monthly credits from $16 for 3,000 and charges nothing for unknowns, and EmailListVerify undercuts most packs at $27 for 10,000 pay-as-you-go credits that never expire. Kickbox sells credits from $5 for 500 with unknown results refunded, and BriteVerify now sits inside Validity’s enterprise platform with no public prices. Reoon is the budget verifier with a permanent free tier and instant credits from $11.90 per 10,000 that never expire. Hunter Email Verifier charges $11 per 1,000 API checks, or half a credit each inside a Hunter plan, with failed checks free.
Using Emailable with PureMail
PureMail’s Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 inboxes arrive with DNS configured and connected to your sequencer, and a verified list is what keeps them that way. Run every list through Emailable before the first send, drop everything but the deliverable results for the first weeks, and spend 100 credits on an inbox placement report once a new domain is a fortnight into sending.

Emailable FAQ
How much does Emailable cost?
As of 13 October 2026, one credit verifies one address and packs get cheaper with size: 5,000 credits cost $38, 10,000 $60, 50,000 $245, 100,000 $420, 250,000 $750 and 1,000,000 $2,100, which is $0.0021 each. A monthly or yearly subscription takes 15% off, so 10,000 credits a month cost $51. Anything over a million is quoted by sales.
Is Emailable free?
Every new account gets 250 free credits without a card, enough to verify a sample of a list before spending anything. After that the smallest purchase is 5,000 credits for $38. Pay-as-you-go credits never expire, unknown results and duplicates are credited back, and the free credits also work with the single-address Verifier and the API.
How fast is Emailable?
Emailable says a typical list of 10,000 addresses finishes in under three minutes and 250,000 in about seven, with speed depending on the mix of domains in the list; it publishes completion benchmarks at each volume. Unknown results, where a server cannot be reached, are returned as credits when the list completes rather than counted as failures.
Does Emailable give refunds?
Payments for bulk or subscription credits are made up front and are non-refundable under the terms. Emailable says it issues refunds at its sole discretion for listed problems if you ask within 30 days of the transaction, and answers within 14 days. Cancelling a subscription stops the next charge but does not refund the current period, and unknown results never qualify.
How should a cold email sender use Emailable?
Verify every list before the first send, keep the deliverable results and drop the risky and unknown ones, then re-verify lists older than a few months. Use the widget or API if leads come in through a form, and spend 100 credits on an inbox placement report when a new sending domain goes live to see where its mail lands.
