Validity publishes no prices for BriteVerify. The capabilities listed are email verification, checking syntax, domain, MX records and mailbox existence and returning valid, invalid or risky, real-time phone validation with line type and designation, and physical address validation against USPS CASS-certified databases. Validity's terms of service still describe a BriteVerify product sold as Verification Credit Blocks that expire one year from purchase, with unused verifications voided and no credit issued, and point to transaction pricing pages that now redirect.

What BriteVerify does well

  • Three kinds of validation in one capability: email with valid, invalid or risky results, real-time phone line checks and USPS CASS address checks.
  • Backed by Validity's email data network and sold alongside inbox placement and testing tools in the same platform.
  • Positioned for CRM data quality, so marketing and sales operations teams get verification where their contacts live.
  • Enterprise customer references on the page, including Shutterfly, Expedia and Southwest Airlines.
  • A long track record under the BriteVerify name, once marketed at about a penny per email.

Where it falls short

  • No public prices: every BriteVerify URL we tried lands on Validity pages with a Get Started form or Contact Sales.
  • The old self-serve, pay-as-you-go sign-up has disappeared; the bundle prices that search engines still show are unverifiable.
  • No published free trial or refund policy for the product.
  • Sold as part of Validity Engage, an enterprise email platform, which is far more than a cold email team needs.
  • The transaction pricing pages that Validity's own terms point to now redirect, so the credit-block product cannot be bought from the site.

What BriteVerify is

BriteVerify is Validity’s contact verification product, now presented as Contact Data Quality powered by BriteVerify inside the Validity Engage platform: email verification that returns valid, invalid or risky after syntax, domain, MX and mailbox checks, real-time phone validation with line type, and physical address validation against USPS CASS databases. It is pitched at CRM quality and campaign lists for enterprise marketing teams, next to Validity’s email testing and inbox placement tools. For cold email it is a verifier you can no longer buy with a card.

BriteVerify pricing: not published

Validity publishes no prices. The BriteVerify pricing address on validity.com redirects to the home page and the former app.briteverify.com sign-up page redirects to the Contact Data Quality page, both of which offer a Get Started form and a Contact Sales button and nothing else. Validity’s terms of service still describe the product as Verification Credit Blocks bought by card, with optional auto-replenishment at 25% balance, expiring one year from purchase with unused verifications voided and no credit issued, and they point to transaction pricing pages that now redirect. No free trial is published.

Email, phone and address verification

The three validations are the whole capability. Email checks go beyond syntax to the domain, its MX records and whether the mailbox exists, returning a three-way result. Phone validation confirms line type and designation in real time so teams only call and text real numbers. Address validation checks mailing addresses against USPS CASS-certified data for direct mail. Everything sits inside Engage, which also previews emails across 100-plus clients and monitors inbox placement, and the site banner announces an MCP connector for AI tools.

What that means for cold email

A cold email team needs to verify a list this afternoon and pay for exactly that list. BriteVerify no longer offers that path on its own site; it offers a sales conversation about an enterprise platform. The verification itself is well regarded, but the buying process, the lack of a price and the absence of a trial make it the wrong tool for the job unless the company already runs Validity.

Who BriteVerify is for, and who should look elsewhere

BriteVerify suits enterprise marketing and sales operations teams already on Validity, or shopping for CRM-wide email, phone and address quality under one contract. It is a poor fit for cold email teams that need to verify a few thousand prospects today with a card and a price list. Kickbox sells credits from $5 with unknown results refunded, Emailable and ZeroBounce have published tiers and APIs, and NeverBounce is the other pay-as-you-go staple. The verification tools category compares them.

Using BriteVerify with PureMail

If your company already has Validity Engage, verify the prospect list there before it reaches the sequencer and send through PureMail’s Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 inboxes on separate outreach domains. If it does not, buy credits from a self-serve verifier instead; the inboxes care about the bounce rate, not the brand of the verifier.

BriteVerify FAQ

How much does BriteVerify cost?

As of 13 October 2026, Validity publishes no BriteVerify prices. Its BriteVerify pricing URL and the old self-serve sign-up page both redirect to Validity's site, where Contact Data Quality powered by BriteVerify is sold through a Get Started form and Contact Sales. The terms still describe credit blocks that expire after a year, but the pricing pages they cite now redirect.

Is BriteVerify still pay as you go?

Not on the site. Validity's terms still describe BriteVerify as Verification Credit Blocks bought by card, with optional auto-replenishment when the balance falls to 25% and a one-year expiry after which unused verifications are void, but the transaction pricing pages the terms point to now redirect to Engage pages with sales forms. Ask Validity whether a self-serve credit option remains.

What does BriteVerify verify?

Three things, per Validity's Contact Data Quality page: email addresses, checked for syntax, domain, MX records and mailbox existence and returned as valid, invalid or risky; phone numbers, verified in real time with line type and designation; and physical mailing addresses, checked against USPS CASS-certified databases. Validity positions it for CRM quality and campaign lists.

Who owns BriteVerify?

Validity, which has folded BriteVerify into its Engage email platform as the Contact Data Quality capability alongside email testing, inbox placement and intelligence tools. The capabilities page carries customer quotes from brands such as Shutterfly, Expedia and Southwest Airlines, and its Get Started button routes to an assessment with a Validity expert rather than a checkout.

Should cold email teams use BriteVerify?

Probably not. With no public price, no self-serve sign-up and a sales process aimed at enterprise marketing teams, it is the wrong shape for verifying a few thousand prospects before a campaign. Kickbox, Emailable or ZeroBounce sell credits in minutes; run the clean list through a sequencer connected to PureMail's inboxes and keep bounces low that way.
