What Verifalia does well

  • Credit packs never expire and start at $7.90 for 1,000, so a one-off clean of a small list costs pocket money.
  • A real free tier: 25 verifications a day for as long as you like, enough to spot-check replies and small batches.
  • Three published quality levels, from a single pass at 1 credit to nine passes at 4 credits, so you decide how hard to try on catch-all and slow domains.
  • Established company, Cobisi Research in Italy since 2005, with a 99.9% uptime SLA from the Professional plan and open-source SDKs.
  • Typo suggestions and disposable and free-provider detection on every plan, with classification overrides from Starter.

Where it falls short

  • Per-address prices are higher than DeBounce or MillionVerifier at small and mid volumes, $0.0079 at 1,000 and $0.0039 at 100,000.
  • Plan credits expire at midnight GMT every day if unused, and the plan fee buys daily allowance and features, not a monthly pool.
  • No refunds for unused plan time and none on credit packs, so a downgrade mid-cycle is money gone.
  • The High and Extreme levels double and quadruple the credit cost, which the per-address headline price hides.
  • A YouTube channel under the Verifalia name has no videos, and the free plan is now limited to one account per organisation.

What Verifalia is

Verifalia is an email verification service from Cobisi Research, an Italian company established in 2005 in Vigonza, near Padua, which says it serves more than 100,000 customers. It verifies addresses one at a time through an API or a form widget and in bulk through list uploads, and it is unusual in letting you choose how hard it tries on each address, with three published quality levels. For cold email it is one of the longer-standing names in a category full of newcomers.

How Verifalia’s pricing works

There are two layers. Credit packs are bought once and never expire: $7.90 for 1,000 credits, $18.90 for 2,500, $28.90 for 5,000, $49.90 for 10,000, $119 for 25,000, $219 for 50,000, $389 for 100,000, $690 for 250,000, $990 for 500,000, $1,490 for 1,000,000, $2,490 for 2,500,000, $3,690 for 5,000,000 and $4,890 for 10,000,000. Plans sit on top and add daily free credits, which are used before pack credits and expire at midnight GMT each day. Free costs nothing for 25 a day and two users. Starter costs $9 a month for 250 a day, five users and five classification override rules. Professional costs $49 for 1,250 a day, 100 users, priority support and a 99.9% uptime SLA. Enterprise costs $199 for 6,250 a day and 1,000 users, and Ultimate $499 for 25,000 a day, 5,000 users and custom quality levels; reselling is allowed from Professional up. Quarterly billing saves 5% and yearly 10%.

The quality levels change what a credit buys. Standard is one pass with a five-second greylisting wait at 1 credit. High is three passes and a 50-second wait at 2 credits. Extreme is nine passes and a two-minute wait at 4 credits. On terms, plans renew automatically, upgrades are prorated, there are no refunds for unused plan time or for credit packs, and since January 2026 each organisation may hold one Free account.

Features and integrations

Every plan includes the real-time checker, bulk verification, typo suggestions, free-provider and disposable detection and two deduplication algorithms; bot detection on the widget and classification overrides start on Starter. The API has open-source SDKs for the main platforms, the JavaScript widget adds verification to any form without code, and a Google Sheets add-on and automation-platform integrations cover the rest. Security options run from configurable data retention on every plan to a firewall from Professional and TOTP and client certificate authentication on Enterprise and Ultimate.

Who Verifalia is for, and who should look elsewhere

Verifalia suits teams that want a dependable verifier with a free daily allowance, open SDKs and a choice of verification depth, and are content to buy packs for big cleans. It is a poor fit for price-driven bulk cleaners, who will find cheaper credits at DeBounce or MillionVerifier, or for anyone who wants a refund after overbuying. ZeroBounce is the bundled alternative with placement tests and warmup seeds, and the verification tools comparison scores all of them. Emailable is another pay-as-you-go verifier worth pricing against it: $38 for 5,000 credits, $60 for 10,000 and $420 for 100,000, with 250 free credits and unknown results refunded to the balance. Clearout is the subscription-style alternative, 3,000 credits a month for $16 billed yearly with unknowns free and credits that roll over.

Using Verifalia with PureMail

Verify first, send second. Run the prospect list at Standard level, re-run the unknown and catch-all results at High or Extreme if the list is worth it, and drop invalid, disposable and role addresses. Then hand the clean list to your sequencer and send from PureMail’s warmed Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 inboxes at a few dozen emails a day each. The Free plan’s 25 daily checks are enough to verify the replies and referrals that trickle in between campaigns.

Verifalia FAQ

How much does Verifalia cost?

As of 12 October 2026, credit packs cost $7.90 for 1,000, $28.90 for 5,000, $49.90 for 10,000, $119 for 25,000, $219 for 50,000, $389 for 100,000, $990 for 500,000 and $1,490 for 1,000,000, rising to $4,890 for 10,000,000. Plans add daily credits and features: Free, Starter $9 a month, Professional $49, Enterprise $199 and Ultimate $499, with 5% off quarterly and 10% off yearly.

Is Verifalia free?

There is a Free plan that verifies up to 25 email addresses a day, for two users, with no card required, and the daily allowance resets at midnight GMT. Since January 2026 each organisation may hold only one Free account. For anything beyond 25 a day you buy a credit pack, from $7.90 for 1,000 credits, or a paid plan with a larger daily allowance.

What are Verifalia's quality levels?

Standard runs a single pass with a five-second wait for greylisting and costs 1 credit per address. High runs three passes with a 50-second wait and costs 2 credits. Extreme runs nine passes with a two-minute wait and costs 4 credits, which gives the most definite answer on catch-all and slow mail servers. Ultimate customers can request custom logic.

Do Verifalia credits expire?

Credits bought in packs never expire and stay in the account until used. The daily free credits that come with a plan are different: they are issued each day, used before any pack credits, and expire at midnight GMT if unused, with no rollover. The terms also say credit packs are non-refundable, as are unused portions of a plan.

How does Verifalia fit a cold email workflow with PureMail?

Verify the list first, send second. Run the prospect list through Verifalia at Standard level, re-run only the unknown and catch-all results at High or Extreme if the list is valuable, and drop invalid, disposable and role addresses. Then send from warmed PureMail inboxes at a few dozen emails a day each, so a clean list is not wasted on a cold mailbox.
