What RB2B does well

  • A free plan and a 7-day full trial, so you can see what the script identifies on your own traffic before paying.
  • Person-level identification on paid plans: LinkedIn profile and, from Pro, a business email, pushed to Slack within minutes of a visit.
  • Cheap entry at $79 a month, and tiers that scale from 300 to 12,500 resolutions a month with published prices.
  • Hot pages and hot leads filtering, exclusions for domains and URLs, and pushes to Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Zapier and webhooks.
  • Visitor reporting that shows new and repeat visitors, pageview history and session recaps.

Where it falls short

  • Person-level identification is US only; outside the US you get company-level data at best.
  • Coverage is a minority of traffic: 15 to 20 percent on Pro and 35 to 45 percent on Pro+, by the company's own numbers.
  • Starter identifies people but gives no email addresses, so outreach from it means finding the email elsewhere.
  • The terms make all payments non-refundable, and extra domains cost $99 a month.
  • Identifying visitors who never opted in raises privacy questions; check the rules in your market, and the accuracy figures are the company's own.

What RB2B is

RB2B is website visitor identification: a script on your site that matches anonymous visitors against an identity graph and pushes the person’s name, LinkedIn profile and, on the Pro plans, business email to Slack, Teams or your CRM within minutes of the visit. It is operated by GetEmails LLC, doing business as RB2B, the company behind Retention.com, and it has made its name through its founder’s public updates and a free plan that spread it quickly through agencies and small B2B teams. The site frames it as the quickest, easiest path to website identification and sells a partnership with Demandbase for higher resolution rates.

For a cold email team it is a different kind of lead source: people who have already looked at your pricing or product pages, which makes the first email far easier to write than one to a scraped list.

RB2B pricing

Plans are priced by monthly resolutions, each one an identified visitor. The free plan gives 150 company-level resolutions a month pushed to Slack, with no names or emails. Starter is $79 a month for 300 resolutions with LinkedIn profiles pushed to Slack or Teams, but no email addresses and no other integrations; overages cost 45 cents. Pro adds business emails and every integration at $149 for 600 resolutions, $249 for 1,250 and $349 for 2,500, with overages at 25 cents. Pro+, marked most popular, uses what RB2B calls premium resolution, 35 to 45 percent coverage against 15 to 20 on the other plans, at $199 for 600, $299 for 1,250, $399 for 2,500, $499 for 5,000, $649 for 7,500, $799 for 10,000 and $849 for 12,500; the dropdown runs to 2.5 million resolutions, with those tiers quoted by sales. Extra domains cost $99 a month for up to 5 on Pro and Pro+. Every new account gets a 7-day full-featured trial, after which the free plan continues indefinitely. The terms say all payments are non-refundable and subscriptions renew automatically.

How it works

Install the script, connect Slack and the alerts start. Hot pages tag high-intent pages such as pricing so a visit there is flagged, hot leads filter identified people against your ideal customer profile, and exclusions keep your own domain, partners and existing customers out. Resolved visitors can be pushed to Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Zapier, a webhook or a CSV, and the reporting shows net-new and repeat visitors, pageview history and session recaps. RB2B says the premium resolution on Pro+ draws on a waterfall of identity sources and email enrichment.

Coverage and privacy

Two limits shape what RB2B can do. Person-level identification is US only; visitors elsewhere resolve to a company at most. And even in the US, coverage is a minority of traffic, 15 to 20 percent on Pro and 35 to 45 percent on Pro+, by the company’s own figures, so a site with modest traffic yields a handful of names a week. Identifying people who never filled in a form also raises privacy questions. RB2B publishes GDPR and privacy-choice pages and limits person-level matching to the US, but compliance with your own privacy policy and local law is yours to manage, and an identified visitor has shown interest, not given consent.

Who RB2B is for, and who should look elsewhere

RB2B suits US-focused B2B teams with meaningful website traffic who want to turn anonymous visitors into named leads for fast follow-up, and agencies that install it for clients. It is a poor fit for teams outside the US, for low-traffic sites, and for anyone uncomfortable with identifying visitors who have not opted in. Warmly, Vector and Dealfront are the usual comparisons in this category; we have not reviewed them yet.

Using RB2B with PureMail

Treat an identified visitor as a warm prospect who still has not asked to hear from you. Push the resolution to your sequencer through Clay, Apollo, Zapier or a webhook, verify the business email RB2B returns, and send the follow-up from a warmed Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 inbox from PureMail rather than your main domain, with the volume low and the message tied to the pages they viewed. Our verification tool reviews cover the checking step, and the lead data category lists every source we have reviewed.

RB2B FAQ

How much does RB2B cost?

As of 6 October 2026, the free plan gives 150 company-level resolutions a month. Starter is $79 a month for 300 resolutions with LinkedIn profiles but no emails. Pro is $149 for 600, $249 for 1,250 or $349 for 2,500 resolutions with business emails. Pro+ runs from $199 for 600 to $849 for 12,500, with tiers up to 2.5 million quoted. Overages cost 45 cents on Starter and 25 cents on Pro and Pro+, and extra domains cost $99 a month for up to 5.

What is a resolution on RB2B?

One identified visitor. RB2B's script matches a visitor against its identity graph and, on paid plans, returns a name, LinkedIn profile and, from Pro, a business email. Each successful match uses one of your monthly resolutions; repeat visits by the same person are tracked in the visitor history. Overages are billed per extra resolution.

Does RB2B work outside the US?

Only at company level. RB2B says person-level identification is US only, with 15 to 20 percent of visitors resolved on Pro and 35 to 45 percent on Pro+, while company-level identification is global at similar coverage. If most of your traffic is outside the US, you will see companies, not people.

Is identifying website visitors allowed?

It depends on where you and your visitors are. RB2B limits person-level identification to the US, publishes GDPR and privacy-choice pages, and leaves compliance with your own privacy policy and local law to you. Treat an identified visitor as a prospect who has shown interest, not as someone who consented to email, and give every message a clear way to opt out.

Can I use RB2B with PureMail inboxes?

Yes, as a lead source. Push identified visitors to Clay, Apollo, HubSpot or a sequencer through Zapier or a webhook, verify the business email RB2B returns, and send the follow-up from a warmed Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 inbox from PureMail rather than your main domain. Keep the volume low and the message specific to the pages the visitor viewed.
