What Maildoso does well

  • The lowest published price per mailbox we have seen in this category: $2.50 at 30 mailboxes, $0.75 at 300 and $0.49 at 1,000, with no-discount pricing that is the same for everyone.
  • A 30-day money-back guarantee on monthly plans, which almost nobody else in the category offers.
  • Domains, mailboxes and DNS can all be created from an API or an MCP server, so a large setup can be scripted or driven from an AI assistant.
  • Clear published limits: 15 cold emails plus 80 warm-up emails a day per mailbox, stated up front rather than discovered after purchase.
  • IP rotation, CAPTCHA protection on domains and mailbox reputation monitoring are included on every plan.

Where it falls short

  • These are SMTP mailboxes on Maildoso's servers, not Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts. They start with Maildoso's reputation, not Google's or Microsoft's.
  • 15 cold emails a day per mailbox is half of what a warmed Google or Microsoft inbox typically sends, so you need roughly twice the mailboxes for the same volume. Compare cost per email sent, not per mailbox.
  • Domains are not included on monthly plans, and the registration fee rises from $12 to $15 a year on 1 October 2026.
  • Maildoso says campaigns aimed at personal addresses (Gmail, Yahoo) may see reduced inbox placement; it is built for B2B lists.
  • The minimum order is 30 mailboxes. There is no plan for a solo sender who needs 5 or 10.

What Maildoso is

Maildoso is a cold email infrastructure provider that sells mailboxes on its own SMTP servers, priced per mailbox and sold in blocks of 30, 300 or 1,000. The company behind it is BacklinkSwappers, Inc. of San Francisco. You buy domains inside the platform or connect your own, Maildoso creates the mailboxes and sets SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and you export the accounts to your sequencer over SMTP and IMAP. Every plan includes IP rotation, CAPTCHA protection on the domains, mailbox reputation monitoring, an API and an MCP server, free deliverability audits and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

The point to understand before anything else: these are not Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 accounts. Maildoso’s own FAQ calls them SMTP accounts, and its pricing page compares them against Google Workspace and Azure tenants as different products. That is what makes the price possible, and it is also the main trade-off.

Maildoso pricing

The monthly plans are simple. Thirty mailboxes cost $75 a month, which is $2.50 each. Three hundred cost $225, or $0.75 each. A thousand cost $499, or $0.49 each. If you need a number in between, the Packages & Add-ons area inside the platform sells custom quantities from $0.49, and Maildoso says it does not run discounts or promotions, so the price you see is the price everyone pays.

Two costs sit outside those numbers. Domains are not included on monthly plans; they cost $12 a year each and go up to $15 on 1 October 2026. And the older quarterly plans, which Maildoso still lists as legacy, are the only ones that bundle domains: 32 mailboxes with 8 domains for $299 a quarter (about $99 a month), 68 with 17 for $499, or 400 with 100 for $2,199.

The number that matters: cost per email, not per mailbox

Maildoso caps each mailbox at 15 cold emails a day, plus 80 warm-up emails, with no ramp-up. A warmed Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 inbox is normally run at 30 to 50 cold emails a day. So thirty Maildoso mailboxes send up to 450 cold emails a day for $75, while thirty PureMail inboxes send 900 or more for $93.

Run the same sum at scale and the picture flips. Three hundred Maildoso mailboxes send 4,500 a day for $225; you would need about 150 PureMail inboxes at $2.90 each, $435, to match that volume. Maildoso’s own table on the pricing page makes a similar argument in its favour, claiming $33 per thousand emails against $165 for Google Workspace. The honest version is: below roughly 100 mailboxes PureMail costs less per email sent, above a few hundred Maildoso does.

Setup and control

Everything is self-serve. Domains bought through Maildoso get DNS set automatically; domains you bring are connected by sending the list to support or through the platform. The API and MCP server can register domains, create mailboxes and set the DNS records programmatically, which is unusual at this price and a real advantage for agencies that spin up infrastructure per client. Sending limits are published and fixed rather than something you discover after a suspension.

Deliverability and what the fine print says

Maildoso’s mailboxes borrow nothing from Google or Microsoft; their reputation is the reputation of Maildoso’s IP pools and your domains. The features aimed at that problem are IP rotation, what Maildoso calls self-healing mailboxes, reputation measurement and free audits. The FAQ is also candid that the infrastructure is tuned for B2B lists and that campaigns aimed at Gmail, Yahoo and other personal providers may land worse. If your prospects use personal addresses, that is a reason to look elsewhere.

Who Maildoso is for, and who should look elsewhere

Maildoso fits agencies and high-volume B2B senders who want hundreds of mailboxes, are comfortable with SMTP infrastructure, and will script the setup through the API. It does not fit anyone who needs fewer than 30 mailboxes, wants Google or Microsoft accounts specifically, or sells to consumers.

Why PureMail is the better buy under 100 inboxes, and where Maildoso wins

PureMail’s inboxes are real Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts on your own domains, with SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX set for you and the connection to your sequencer done as part of setup: $3.30 each for 10, $3.10 for 30 to 100, $2.90 for 101 or more, with no 30-mailbox minimum. Because each inbox sends two to three times what a Maildoso mailbox is allowed to, PureMail costs less per email sent at the sizes most teams actually run, and it carries Google’s and Microsoft’s sender reputation from the first send.

Maildoso wins on price per mailbox at every size, on the money-back guarantee, and on API-driven setup at the 300-to-1,000 mailbox scale, where its per-email cost drops below ours. If you run that kind of volume on B2B lists, it deserves a test. The table below puts both side by side.

Maildoso FAQ

How much does Maildoso cost?

As of 30 September 2026, Maildoso's monthly plans are $75 for 30 mailboxes ($2.50 each), $225 for 300 ($0.75 each) and $499 for 1,000 ($0.49 each). Custom quantities are sold from $0.49 inside the platform. Legacy quarterly plans bundle domains: 32 mailboxes with 8 domains for $299 a quarter, 68 with 17 for $499, and 400 with 100 for $2,199. Domains on monthly plans cost $12 a year each, rising to $15 on 1 October 2026.

How many emails can I send per day with Maildoso?

Maildoso states a limit of 15 cold emails and 80 warm-up emails per mailbox per day, with no ramp-up period required. A 30-mailbox plan therefore sends up to 450 cold emails a day. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 inboxes are usually run at 30 to 50 cold emails a day once warmed.

Are Maildoso mailboxes Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

No. Maildoso sells SMTP mailboxes on its own infrastructure with rotating IP pools; its own FAQ calls them SMTP accounts and its pricing page compares them against Google Workspace and Azure tenants as separate options. They connect to sequencers through SMTP and IMAP.

Are domains included with Maildoso?

Only on the legacy quarterly plans. On monthly plans you buy domains separately at $12 a year each until 30 September 2026 and $15 a year from 1 October 2026, or connect domains you already own. Maildoso registers .com, .net, .org, .co and several other TLDs.

Does Maildoso offer refunds?

Yes, a 30-day money-back guarantee for new users on monthly SMTP packages. Other cases fall under its refund policy, and it states a no-discount policy: prices are the same for everyone and there are no promotions.

Is Maildoso cheaper than PureMail?

Per mailbox, yes: Maildoso's $2.50 at 30 mailboxes is below PureMail's $3.10 for 30 to 100, and its $0.49 at 1,000 is far below PureMail's $2.90. Per email sent it is closer, because a Maildoso mailbox sends 15 cold emails a day against the 30 or more a warmed PureMail inbox sends, and PureMail's inboxes are Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts with setup and the sequencer connection included.
