Credits: most actions cost one or two; email enrichment averages one (up to ten), phone enrichment four (up to twenty); top-ups are one-time, shared across the team and carry over for up to 12 months; when credits run out, actions pause rather than charge; AI model costs are passed through from the same balance.

Unify's four plans, captured 13 October 2026. Managed mailboxes at $25 a month each appear further down the comparison table.

What Unify does well

  • Honest self-serve pricing: a free plan for three seats, $20 and $60 a seat a month with credits included, and a 14-day Pro trial without a card.
  • Data, sequencing and a dialer in one place, with 1.1 billion-plus people from 40-plus sources and the vendor behind each record shown in the workflow.
  • Credits are explained: one or two for most actions, about one for an email, about four for a phone number, top-ups that carry over for a year, and a hard cap that pauses rather than overspends.
  • Business adds managed Gmail and Outlook mailboxes with warmup and rotation, so the sending side can live inside the platform.
  • A funded company, with a $40 million Series B announced on its blog, SOC 2 Type II and customers such as Perplexity and Justworks named on the pricing page.

Where it falls short

  • Warmup, rotation and deliverability analytics are Business-only; Free, Base and Pro connect one mailbox a seat with none of them.
  • Managed mailboxes cost $25 a mailbox a month, several times the price of a Google or Microsoft inbox bought elsewhere, and only on the custom annual plan.
  • Fees are non-refundable with no set-off, and the Business plan is annual by design.
  • Credit costs vary by vendor and workflow, so a deep agentic research run can burn through an allowance quickly.
  • Phone enrichment at around four credits each makes a called list far dearer than an emailed one.

What Unify is

Unify is an outbound platform that runs prospecting from a chat prompt: it builds lists from 1.1 billion-plus people and 65 million-plus companies, enriches them with emails, phones and signals, writes and sends multi-channel sequences, and dials. Unify AI Business Corporation is a Delaware company based in San Francisco, announced a $40 million Series B on its blog, and names Perplexity, Juicebox, Pylon and Justworks among its customers. For cold email it sits between the data tools and the AI SDRs, with the unusual honesty of a public price list.

Unify pricing explained

Plans are per seat, billed monthly, each with a monthly credit allowance. Free costs nothing for up to three seats with limited credits, AI outbound, the full data set from 40-plus sources, multi-channel sequencing, a click-to-call dialer and one mailbox a seat. Base costs $20 a seat a month with 800 credits a seat and adds AI email copywriting, credit top-ups, job change and hiring signals, phone and email enrichment and unlimited seats. Pro costs $60 a seat a month with 2,400 credits and adds read-only HubSpot and Salesforce sync and Slack notifications, with a 14-day trial that needs no card. Business is custom and billed annually with a credit pool per workspace, and adds first-party website intent and product usage signals, signal-triggered automations, a power dialer, read-write CRM sync, an open API, SSO as an add-on and managed Gmail and Outlook mailboxes at $25 a mailbox a month with warmup, rotation, bounce prevention and deliverability analytics.

Credits are explained on the page rather than hidden. Most actions cost one or two; email enrichment averages one credit a record and up to ten in rare cases, phone enrichment four and up to twenty; signals start at about one credit for web intent or technographics and run higher for niche sources. Top-ups are one-time, pooled across the team and carry over for up to 12 months; when seat credits and the pool are both spent, actions pause rather than charge; model costs are passed through from the same balance with no separate AI fee. The terms make fees non-refundable and not subject to set-off, with Stripe handling cards and 1.5% a month on undisputed late balances.

Data, sequences and the sending side

Searches return up to 100 records at a time with the underlying vendor shown, so you know whose data you are trusting. Sequences mix email, social messaging and calls, with AI copywriting from Base upward and account research built in. The sending side is where the plans diverge: Free, Base and Pro connect one mailbox per seat and offer no warmup or rotation, while Business supplies managed Gmail and Outlook mailboxes at $25 a month each with both, plus bounce prevention and deliverability analytics.

What that means for cold email

On the self-serve plans Unify is a strong front end for a cold campaign and a weak back end: it will build and write the campaign well, then send it from a single unwarmed mailbox per seat unless you bring warmed inboxes of your own. The managed mailboxes fix that, at $25 a mailbox a month on an annual contract, which is several times the going rate for a Google or Microsoft inbox. The practical pattern is Base or Pro for the data and sequences, with dedicated inboxes connected from outside.

Who Unify is for, and who should look elsewhere

Unify suits reps and small teams that want AI list building, enrichment and sequencing on a card-sized monthly bill, with an upgrade path to managed sending. It is a poor fit for cold email teams that need warmup and rotation on a self-serve plan. Apollo and Clay are the data-first alternatives, Artisan’s Ava is the fully autonomous agent with a free plan and startup plans from $250 a month billed annually, and the HubSpot Prospecting Agent is the metered option inside a CRM. The AI SDR category lists them together.

Managed mailboxes against PureMail inboxes

Unify’s managed Gmail and Outlook mailboxes cost $25 a mailbox a month and need the annual Business plan. PureMail’s Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 inboxes cost $3.30 each for 10, $3.10 for 30 to 100 and $2.90 for 101 or more, set up with SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX on your domains, and connected to your sequencer in about four hours, including Unify’s own Base and Pro plans at one mailbox a seat. The comparison below puts the two side by side: PureMail wins on price and on working with any sequencer, and Unify wins when you want data, sequences and sending under one contract.

Unify FAQ

How much does Unify cost?

As of 13 October 2026, Free costs nothing for up to three seats with limited credits. Base costs $20 a seat a month with 800 credits a seat, Pro $60 with 2,400 credits and read-only CRM sync, both billed monthly. Business is custom, billed annually, with a shared credit pool and managed Gmail and Outlook mailboxes at $25 a mailbox a month. Pro has a 14-day trial without a card.

How do Unify credits work?

Credits pay for data and AI actions, and most cost one or two. Unify says email enrichment averages one credit a record (up to ten in rare cases), phone enrichment four (up to twenty), and signals start at about one credit. Top-ups are one-time, pooled across the team and carry over for up to 12 months; when credits run out, actions pause rather than charge.

Does Unify provide mailboxes and warmup?

Only on Business. The comparison table lists managed Gmail and Outlook mailboxes at $25 a mailbox a month, with mailbox warmup and rotation, bounce prevention and deliverability analytics, all marked Business-only. Free, Base and Pro connect one mailbox per seat and leave warmup and rotation to you, so a cold campaign on those plans needs its inboxes warmed elsewhere.

Can I get a refund from Unify?

No. The customer terms say fees are non-refundable and not subject to set-off, payable at the cadence in the order, monthly or annually, with card payments through Stripe and 1.5% a month interest on undisputed late balances. Business plans are annual. The safer route is the free plan or the 14-day Pro trial, which needs no card, before committing a team.

How does Unify compare with PureMail?

They overlap on one thing: inboxes. Unify's managed Gmail and Outlook mailboxes cost $25 a mailbox a month and need the annual Business plan; PureMail's Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 inboxes cost $3.30 each for 10 and $2.90 for 101 or more, with DNS configured, and connect to any sequencer, including Unify's lower plans. Unify wins when you want data, sequencing and sending in one contract.
